سخن پروری سے اسنے جیتی اب تک ہر باذی ہے
ना उसने कोई जंग लडी है ना ही वो कोई गाज़ी है ।
सुखन परवरी से उसने जीती अब तक हर इक बाज़ी है।

شاعر کا میدان ھے کاغز قلم ھی اسکی تیغ بنے۔
فتح کرےآشعاروں کو وہ یون لفظوں سے بیگ بنے۔
دیکھ تخیل کی رفطار ھے پوری موج-روانی مین۔
ترکش بھرا ھے حرفون سے یہ اسکی تیر۔اندازی ھے۔
शायर का मैदान है कागज़,कलम ही उसकी तेग़ बने ।
फतेह करे आशआरों को वो यूँ लफ़जो़ं से बेग बने ।
देख तख़युल की रफ़्तार है पूरी मौज-रवानी में,
तरकश भरा है हर्फ़ों से ये उसकी तीर-अंदाज़ी है ।

By gaining a victory over poetical verses, he through his words becomes a Hero.

हैरां हूं कि ना वो कोई मुंसिफ़ है ना क़ाज़ी है ।
